Making extra money through e-book

I would like to know if any of you able to make extra money from e-book selling or other ways.I hope all myLotters wouldn't mind to share your experience or maybe can give any tips regarding to this.Thank you..

I write reviews for some of the largest ebook publishing companies, and what they don't tell you is, ebooks are equipped with coded data that tells the publisher if they have been transfered from the person who bought it and someone else. What you are suggesting is against the law, and can be punishable by heavy fines, and or imprisonment. I wouldn't suggest trying to sell ebooks to make money, it is far too risky.

Hello Stefani,
I don't see where he is suggesting anything illegal here. Anybody can digitize and format a public domain book to make it available for, by example, an ipad or a kindle and earn with it. I did that during years for some no more available books without a problem with a paper publisher : two asked for my sources to reprint 19c novels and offered a link to my web.

Thank you stefani and topffer...maybe my inquiry isn't very clear.What I meant by earning from ebook is not totally by selling the published by known publisher or alike but maybe we can produce the ebooks on our own interest topics and then sell it.However, the info provided by stefani is very useful to be pondered. I like very much to know what topffer have done. I can see that you are really good in earning from ebooks.haha..
