how are we looking to (or refusing looking to)God for wisdom? Where in your life do you most need God wisdom right now? scripture tells us that God desire to give us wisdom., to bless us with the kind of knowledge that allow us to live with joy and integrity.the opposite choice of course is to ignore wisdom,to ignore God! share with me today..

I have always trusted God in everything that happens in my life. In all circumstances i ask God's wisdom to understand the reasons behind all the unfoldings in my life. But lately, I was really trying to figure out why God permitted me to suffer from my current illness (vertigo) which cost me my job. I couldnt understand from the human perspective how HE could have just let things happened the way they are unfolding. Still I trust in His wisdom and give up everything to Him..........

A lifetime is not enough to understand even a droplet of wisdom in GOD's ocean of knowledge. God will let us show his wisdom from HIS works, and it's up to us to understand about it. The air we breath that unseen ,but we can feel. The rain from heavens, that provide us water that we need. Those are HIS works, and wisdom that we human had to understand and feel how God love us all.

I grew up in a very devout family so looking to God for wisdom is something that I've always done. I pray for things to go in the direction that I would like to see them go. And, there are times that I question those things that happen to me and eventually I will learn the reason that those things that have happened. When I feel in my heart that there is a certain decision that I should make, I also follow that calling as well.

I seek God's wisdom when my judgements are clouded. I never liked making bad decisions. It always mess up things most of the time. And sometimes when i'm feeling too much hatred i also seek for God's wisdom. I wanna know what he'd do in times of tension.

Yes, just recently I've come to the Lord asking for wisdom about how to best deal with my daughter's whining fits. She's 18 months and has just started to whine recently and randomly throughout the day. At the time I didn't know that two of her molars are coming in so I now I know that was it. Anyway I was being told that when she whines like that if I know that she's not actually NEEDING something then I should spank her. A "stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about" mentality. But I don't want to do that. I really want to avoid spanking unless it's something very important. I know the Bible says "Spare the rod, spoil the child" but to be honest I feel that it's referring to the rod of discipline, I don't believe that it's saying you HAVE to spank. Especially since studies have shown positive reinforcement to be more effective. There is SO much more I could say on this subject but I wont. The point is I was seeking the Lord for wisdom about this and He is always faithful to impart! You're so right that sometimes we'll avoid it though (asking and/or receiving). Why I don't know, especially when we've tasted and SEEN that the Lord is so wonderful. But sometimes we do. So we have to ask God to break the walls we have put up or that are up because of other people/circumstances. Now I feel like I'm rambling! Anyway, I guess I wanted to say that this is a good post! Good point!
