Pancakes-Do you prefer to buy or make it yourself?

owh, it seems that she can't take~ Perhaps you could tell her what's missing in her recipe or maybe you could give her some pancake recipes- you can have so many of its on internet.(^^)(^^)

I was wondering how did it happen. She used to make pancakes before but it was good. Maybe something's just missing that time.

Belinda, you must have made your mom angry by insulting her cooking. That may be the reason why she threw the pancakes in your backyard.

HI sis!! Long time no see. Happy new year!!!(^^) Pancake or we called it 'lempeng' in Malay, is so easy to make. You just need to mix all the ingredients and cook it in frying pan. I like plain pancake that use milk as one of the ingredients while mom likes to use plain water instead of milk with grated coconut.(^^)(^^)

Treat me some 'Penang Lempeng'. I want to try and taste it~ But need to go to Penang first~HUmppph~~~ I think for us malaysian western pancake is not that popular compared to 'roti canai' unless if we go to Mcdonald to have the morning breakfast with their McD pancakes. I am not even sure if there is any 'lempeng' stall here~

Happy New Year to you too. I was just in the neighbourhood and thought I'd drop by to check on you. I know pancake is easy to make, but since I'm not so "pakar" yet, I'm sure mine won't taste so nice. You know Penang, what you want to eat, you can always find it.

Also the nice thing, is that with pancakes you can eat these any time of day, and can put almost anything on them.

I like to have it with yogurt in flavor mango. I really like the combination. Sometimes I will have it with some fruit jam or honey. Eating it just like it is fine too!! Usually have it for breakfast~(^^)

Unlike in western countries, here we rarely have pancakes as our regular food. When I was a kid we don't even know how to make pancakes-I mean the fluffy western pancakes which use milk as one of the ingredients- local pancakes don't use milk but just water. But after watching so many English movies and get introduced with this kind of food I found it really easy to made and there are even the ready made pancake in a box at the store. I have tried both-homemade recipe and the ready made recipe and both are tasty!!(^^)

the pancakes we made and the original taste is better anyway.me too had tried to put some additional stuff but it taste turn slightly different from the original.so i prefer the original taste from basic recipe of pancake. thanks for sharing!

Before my I made my own pancakes I have tried several brands of ready-made pancake and yeah,they tastes good. But I found that the price is costly so to save budget I would prefer to make my own. The taste is still the same.(^^)

I never know about frozen pancakes. I just know about frozen waffles but I do agree that home made pancake is much better than the pre-made. I like to make it my own since it is so easy, much cheaper and even taste good.(^^)

hi cher! yeah, there are instant, fluffy, light and easy to make.all 4 in 1.sometimes i do buy the mix from the shop especially the new brand ones just to try them out.

yeah, our own recipe tastes better than the mixes.i do love the original taste of mine plus it is easy to prepare for it.but sometimes i still buy mixes from the shop especially the new brand of pancakes mixes. thanks for sharing cher!

yeah sometimes pancake mix save the day.but i would say that making our own batter of pancake is as easy as 123 and it does not take much time to prepare them.yes i agree with you that home made pancake taste is better than the one we buy at the groceries shop. thanks for sharing!

I like homemade pancakes too. it's easy to made and the taste is better. I love plain pancakes with honey, chocolate syrup or mango flavored yogurt.(^^)

I love to see the way the pancake expand double size when we making it.The pancakes i make is always fluffy and i'm thinking to make one right now.Oh my...:)

Me either.Besides, the price is quite expensive.but sometimes i just can't control myself from buying it especially the new brand one.:)
