Hey guys, I started writing articles on triond a week ago. I did not really got much page views yet, but I hope it'll get better. I like writing articles, its easy and it does not take much time. An article takes me half an hour to write, but the hardest part is to promote them so that people read them. I'm also interested in doing my own blog, I already have blogs on blogspot. I want to try my own domain, how much does a domain cost?? Any other suggestions as to how to make more money online?

I'm a member of Triond myself and I have a few article published on that website. I'm too happy with it though as it's really difficult to earn any kind of income and I have been with them for a while now. I guess the thing to do is write and write and write until you have so many articles published that you are bound to be earning something!
I'm also a member of Helium and I definitely favour this site over Triond. I would recommend that you sign up with Helium if you are not a member yet. You have to rate articles and you achieve rating stars which helps in the earning process. Most of my articles are published on Helium and I mainly concentrate my efforts on creative writing and fiction.
I used to keep a blog on blogspot but I found this too much work so I gave up on the idea. Now, I just concentrate my efforts on My Lot and Helium. Andrew

It was very informative, thank you andrew. Are you gaining much writing articles?? I have a goal to at least write 100 articles by this weekend, and I hope that I'll be able to achieve it. I hate rating articles or products, I'm not really good at it. Do keep me updated on your advance on Triond :)

Hello. If you enjoy writing, how about writing reviews ? There is a site called "Review Stream". You can write brief reviews on a variety of things, things you come across in your day-to-day activities, shopping, movies, restaurants, travels, and so on, and get paid. I have been writing reviews there for quite some time now, and I am happy with the site.

Hi lilmuchang, :) The last time we met it was somewhere between the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, but the post was deleted! :)
Never mind. Hopefully this stays. :) I like mylot, and mturk. I am also on shvoong.com. Shvoong.com is a slow way to earn, but eventually hopefull I will have enough articles to get me regular income. :)

If you are trying first time for your own website, have you tried free? I had used www.webs.com for free website and if it works out well, you can purchase your own domain later. The thing is to make searches for the domain name you want and its variations so that you know what is already online and then pick one that is unique and not yet around so that you won't have trouble when you want to upgrade and pay for your own domain in future.

I don't know much about the cost of a domain registration, but it can be cheap as much as $3.00 a month, last time I saw it on yahoo promotion. You might do some research on it, and you might find a bunch of them.
I giving up on writing articles online. I just don't know much articles do I need to write to make some decent earnings especially in triond, where requires a lot of reviews and page views.

Hi
You can buy domains very cheap. If you don't want to spend a lot of money for domain the right solution is the .info domains.
At domain-online.us you can buy an .info domain less than $2 for a year. For hosting I using hostgator.com services. It depends what you needs. If you don't want more then one domain you can choose the cheapest package which is $4 for a month, but you can find some free hosting stuffs too. I prefer hostgator because they are very stabil and trusted company.
If you want to know other opportunities earning online, just pick me as a friend and I will send you some more options.
