Pacific Northwest Beaches, which one do you like the best?

I am heading back home to Oregon this July and really have missed the Beaches. My first road trip after I get settled in Newport Beach, Oregon. Love it there with all the shops, trails to the beach, sea lions, bat cave and the smell of fresh caught fish when the ships come in. I know I will have to get use to that smell again, but what the hey. Oh and yes, the clam chowder. I just hope this town has not changed much in the past 15 years as I can still vision it today. So what is your beach hangout place you would like to share?
