Do you have a particular routine before calling it a night and go to sleep?
I know some of us here would stay up so late especially when they have an access to the the internet but for sure, they still have routines.:-)
I would always, I mean always, take a bath first before hitting the sack. That's the only signal I can give to my body that I am ready to sleep.
How about you? I will leave this post for you guys to respond (if you feel like it) while I hit the shower and climb up to bed after. I'll get back to you tomorrow.
Thank you and goodnight everybody.:-)

Hello, Laratri.;-)
Oh, that! Yes, one should pray before hitting the sack and going out of it. Well, sometimes, we tend to forget about it because of the many things that occupy our thoughts . Sadly but it is happening...
I admire you for having that close relationship with God.
Have a blessed Sunday.:-) And happy Mylotting to you, too.;-)

A hot shower is more recommended than a luke warm one, Homeshoppers, especially to a pregnant woman like you.:-)
I hope your pregnancy is not giving you discomforts now.Drink water too before hitting the sack to avoid cramps.;-)
Do take care and the baby inside you.;-)

when i get home from the office in the afternoon, it's cooking time for me if wife is still busy with something else. i usually get to take a bath after dinner or after i have taken an hour or two rest. after which, i go online and post some comments and responses on mylot or i start a new discussion if something get into my mind. at about 11 or 12, that will only be the time i get a mouthwash and get it on the bed.

Hi, Neil.:-)
Sorry for the late response. So, you often sleep at midnight? LOL. Whilst,I am always about to get up during those hours to browse the net. Not particularly here in Mylot but just anywhere, reading or writing.
But, I often make sure too that at 3 A.M I am back to bed or else I will no longer be able to function well during the day.It is always my routine, too, to brush my teeth even if i've brushed the night before and haven't eaten while awake during the wee hours.
Always keep yourself healthy, then, Neil. Have a wonderful day.:-)

I usually eat Dinner and then take a long shower or a bath depending on hoe I feel, sometimes I like to have ready what I am going to wear the next day out but that has not happened in a while due to so many things going on,Then I will just put a movie in and fall asleep. Do you get your clothes ready for the next day? I have been trying to do this again but I can never get it right because I always end up changing my mind.Well Have a Good Day!!!

Thanks, Jahernandezrivas.:-)
I am a very organize person. I'd like to be ready when I get up the following day if I've plans to go out. When I was working, it was the first thing that comes to mind after eating dinner, then a bath and tv to help me doze off.I don't need much preparations because all my clothes were already ironed.
But, now that I am a fulltime housewife, my last activity before hitting the sack is taking a bath, that is, after cleaning up all the mess. I'm doing this so I can sleep peacefully. I will not wake up to a house full of clatter because this will be a a sure downer for me.

Yes I am the same as you, I always like to have a nice relaxing bath, to unwind before getting into bed.... for some reason I just feel that this is so much nicer and then easier to wind down ready for a good nights sleep, especially after a tiring day running around after my kids, and doing the chores of everyday life, which can exhaust you.

That is so true, Rosie. Taking care of the kids and accepting full responsibility in taking care of the house as well is really and exhausting thing to do everyday.
My doctor told me that a warm bath is better than a lukewarm because after the warm bath the body then cools down making a signal to the body that it is ready to sleep.
I also find it too hard to sleep when I am too exhausted. I feel that my brain is so active still rather than feeling tired like my body does.
Thank you for responding.:-)

Well, me.. after hitting the shower, I go browse and go crazy watching and staring at the shiny shiny internet.. then after 5 hrs, I probably will start to feel drowsy and then I'll realize I need sleep.. so I shut the shiny thing down.. then go to my bed and.. look for my blackberry and then again.. stare at the shiny blackberry for 30 mins-an hour.. hoping to fall asleep.. (it doesnt usually work, its distracting) hahaha :D
