Glee!

I love Glee so much. It's something I look forward to every week. The casting is great and even their concepts too. Each week, they give chances to everyone showing their singing skills. For a music lover like me, it's so easy to fall in love with Glee. It's very amazing and cool when they make covers of songs from classics to pop, rock, R & B and even broadway. One of my favorites though would have to be the Mash Up episodes.

I have been following this tv show because I love music myself. Some say that it's like High School Musical, only it's a TV series. But I say, it's way better! I really enjoy watching their performances, and listening to them sing their own version of different songs.

I had just replied to this discussion, and was getting ready to hit submit. Then my power went out. Argh! Anyway, I watched Glee last night for the first time (although I had scene a little here and there). I was not impressed. I thought that with the exception of two actors, the acting on the show was pretty bad. It is the caliber of acting I would expect for a show on ABC Family, not a major network like FOX. Of course everyone could sing great. They have great voices. But also, it was so obvious the singing was prerecorded. I understand that is just how they do it. But somehow movies and other TV shows make it look more natural. I don't understand why they couldn't. Like I said, the acting was poor to me, but the singing and the new arrangements of the songs were very nice. I'm sure my response won't sit well with Gleeks, as they call Glee fans, but it's just my opinion.

I'm hooked with Glee. I'm really excited with its season finale next week. Really hoping they will win. I'm sure they will give us one heck of a performance. It should be better than the sectionals, which I think is really, really good. So far my favorite episode is the one about Madonna.

My teenage daughters love Glee too. I have seen bits of some episodes and it looks fun, quite like Fame was during my childhood, which I loved. It's good to see that kind of show can still be popular. I enjoy the music too, especially when they are singing songs I loved as a teen and I thought it was great when Olivia Newton-John turned up in an episode singing Physical!!!
