I always seem to have alot of extra fruit that my family never wants to eat and it goes bad, because I always seem to buy to much of it hoping one day my family with want to eat healthy. but I am wondering if any of you know of any home remedies that involve fruit like bananas, strawberries, plums berries etc. Also of any with oatmeal.

hi LBDR Oatmeal in nice warm bathwater will soothe and calm
breakouts or inflamed or sunburned skin. bananas mushed up
are good to eat when you have a bad case of diarrhea also apple
sauce as they are so bland. Apple juice and apple sauce and hot tea are the meal that they use here for anyone who has had stomach flu as they do settle your tummy. an avocado mask will soften and clear up the skin on your face. Now about berries I do not know except they do make much better after school snacks than those chicken nuggets things so many kids get fed.

Very interesting about the oatmeal. How much do you add to a bath?

Buy a Juicer! We love our new Breville (pricer than some) but worth it! We make smoothies with remaining fruit, add them altogether, no ice or milk needed...the dry ruffage can be used for muffins or adding to sauces. REmove all large pits but keep the smaller seeded fruit, the juicer will take care of it. The 4 kids I have love them and I know they are getting their vitamins...I even add fresh spinach or cucumber to the final product! If you run low on fruit you can add aloe vera juice (wonderful fiber) and apple juices, etc. to make the fruit stretch for more mouths! Another thought is to freeze what you juice for summer popsicles!
