Jejemon is a new way and cryptic form or style of communication. and if you are new to it you couldn't even read or understand it at first glance, you will have to spend too much time deciphering it. It is a total deviation from a formal, standard or native language. And many are up against it, like in the Philippines, the Department of Education declares an all-out-war against jejemon. Are you against it, too? Or would you give it a try?

Yea, it's true, and if they continue with that kind of cryptic idea, they will reap their rewards in the end, ending up with poorer grammatical, composition as well as communication skills. Thanks.

Hi! I know most would hate me for this comment, but I'm neither a pro-jejemon nor an anti-jejemon. Personally I think these jejemon issues are so overrated. There are many other important issues in the country that the media can focus on, not just this one. I think Filipinos are becoming discriminative because of these jejebusters. As long as it's not being brought in schools, I don't think there's anything wrong about it. I mean, we all have individual lives. If they think it's cool then fine. I just don't like people dissing out other people especially if there's no harm done.

..hi.. i'm definitely against jejemon.. In my own observation, instead of learning the correct spelling, students and pupils in our school deviate from using the correct ones and their grammar becomes poorer.. they can't even make one paragraph with five sentences correctly.. If this continues in our youths, then they wouldn't become the hope of the fatherland because they can't even spell simple words correctly.. I hope schools would really look into this and give more writing and grammar lessons and activities to students..
