What kind of dreamer are you?

Do you have the same dreams over and over? Do you have precognitive dreams that actually happen? Or are your dream random? Or maybe you don't usually remember your dreams? I have been in two bad car accidents over the years. With each one I got the same hit in the same area and I think I don't remember my dreams, or not very often, because of this. Your thoughts.

I used to have the same horrible dreams when I was a child. I dream very vividly and, thank goodness, throughout the years that same dream went away and now they are pretty random. I remember them but sometimes only bits and pieces of them. There are some that are very clear though and I remember them all. I would say that your car accidents could very well be the reason that you can't remember your dreams. Did you remember them before?

Me too! I would have the falling dream- soon after I fell asleep I would dream I was falling and wake myself up again. And I would have a dream when I was sick that I was being chased across a feild by some guy. Weird, huh?

Same here. Have to be dreaming. And occasionally I wake up and get alittle of a dream but I lose it real fast.

celticeagle I have mostly random dreams and one upsetting dream of being lost and not being able to find this store and finding out I am not only lost but have gone to a different state. this only happens when I am totally stressed out. MOst of my dreams I only remember pieces of and nothing of any real help either.

I rarely remember even fragments. About the only time I do is when I am sick with a fever.

I don't usually have dreams every time I sleep but it was just this past days that almost everyday I got different dreams, it's about bad dreams and some so good to be true dreams. I don't know why I dreamed about those things. Sometimes, I don't even remember what my dreams are when I woke up in the morning.
I just hope, all those are for good things..

If you think about your dreams as soon as you wake up you have more of a chance of remembering your dreams I am told.

I often wake up knowing I had a dream, but I wont remember it. Then other times I have the same dream about this girl I dislike two or three times a week! It's kind of the same dream, but it's always just a little different. Like same plot different setting.....I obviously have unsettled issues with her. I have heard of people getting in accidents or experiencing trauma and no longer being able to dream. I guess it's possible?

most often when i have a dream, i do not remember them when i wake up in the morning. but there is one thing that mostly comes in to my dreams, but not too often. and that is my high school life where i had a very memorable relationship with a girl classmate.

I have dreams every night, and they're often very wacko and very imaginative. I'm a writer and I get loads of story ideas from my dreams. My dreams often have intricate plots and create characters and stories I'd have never thought of in conscious life. I've been dream journaling since I was very young and it helps me to remember lots of details about my dreams. I often have lucid dreams (Dreams where I am aware that I am dreaming and have some level of control over what happens in the dream) because I recognize the dream world so well.

I dont know. I might too and just not recall. Dream journaling is a good step. I heard that if you think about what you dreamed right when you wake up you are more apt to remember what the dream was about. Doesn't help me.

It's very rare that I've had a dream to actually happen. Most of my dreams are random. The problem is, my dreams are so convoluted, it doesn't make sense to try to tell them. Most of the time, I don't remember my dreams, though. I sometimes dream more than once at night. I just don't always remember all of them. I had a dream one time last night that I had lost my guitar and I thought it had been stolen. I found it later and I'm glad it had a happy ending.

Glad you found your guitar! I think I used to have a couple of dreams a night sometimes too. Totally random.

I used to have different kinds of dream. I almost dream everyday and night. But it's just random happen they have nothing to do in my reality. But one dream that I can't never forget is when I dream bitten by a black snake. Many people in my hometown belief that if you dream bitten by a snake than you will meet your other half then get married. Yes, it happen next to me. Not so long after I married with my husband now who have a black skin. =)

That is very interesting. I wonder how these beliefs get started.
