Although there are changes in the movie, the event of what had happen is very similar.. Leonidas was outnumbered by the armies of Xerxis but still fought. One of the greatest men in history

In history, Leonidas have a thousand army on his back but they went home
because they thought the enemy will attack in their villages so they won't home
and only 300 remains.

yup, they totally exaggerated the war especially those warriors known as immortals.. These immortals were just persian warriors known to their skills in combat that's why they are called immortals..
