Well guys,,,
I'm just wondering if you could manage without music?
personally, it is totally difficult if it is impossible for me to go on without music! in which,
1. I can't study without some music
2. I can't drive without music as it is the first thing I would do after turning on the car engine & I would so annoyed if somebody talking to me while i'm listening to one of my fav songs ever!
music would just lighten up my day
what about you?

Music is a delightful part of my life and am glad that I'm surrounded with it! Thanks to Youtube I can locate any song even from when I was a child and listen to it. God gave us a beautiful gift and we should enjoy it.

i don't think i could last a day without music..music feeds my soul. when i was still studying, i cannot concentrate without music in the background.. whenever i'm doing something around the house, i had to have music, filling the air with its sweet melody..
i don't care for "loud music" though, if you can call it that. i go for music which heals the soul and imbibes serenity within me and with the environment i am in. simply put, music makes my world go round. what a depressing day would it be for me without it.

Awh that is really cool!! well, I do turn the volume down during exam preparation & I might even turn the radio off if the subject that I'm studying for needs lots of focus..but mostly, I can't live without music..
in fact, I'm commenting on your response while listening to music *_*

It's so ironic that I see this discussion as I'm sitting here on the couch, listening to the radio... I would much rather listen to the radio than watch TV. I always have the radio on at work for background noise. I almost always have the radio on at home too. I love music - even though I can't sing and can barely play an instrument...

Awh Waw so, you were responding to my discussion while listening to the radio that is cool :)
I'm commenting on your respond at the moment sitting on the floor at my room next to the window listening to music while the rain is raining! I just feel a bit sad at the moment so, I'm hoping the musics that I'm listening to would cheer me up :)

Hey smiley! I am alot like you are when it comes to music! When
I am in a really bad mood or when I a really angry I listen
to music! It varies what kind I listen to depending on my mood!
But, it is always loud! I still listen to some "hard rock" from
way back when, but I also listen to alot of current R & RB and
some Rap! I love music, always have and always will! And thankfully
my boyfriend is the same way! He is listening to "Keith Sweat"
right now in the bedroom! I can sort of hear it in my kitche/office!

A world without quality music would be very difficult to deal with indeed for music can help calm people and can help them think, particularly for people who have daily tasks that involve thinking or conceptualizing data.
Now if one is driving with music, the person needs to be careful not to be focused so much on the song that they turn their eyes off the road to change a station for instance when the person should drive.

Music is heard in so many different ways. It's all in what we are drawn to. It can be music that is directly created or just the music of the world around you in sound. If I don't feel like listening to commercial music and want something that is more rhythmic, I open a window. Plenty of music there....lol

i'm kin of an either way kind of gal. But I don't know what I would do if I didn't have that option to listen to music. I like listening on the tv to the music channels and like playing my piano. I like playing music on the computer. I enjoy listening to it when ever I can. It keeps me from going crazy sometimes. When I was little and my parents would argue every other night over the least little thing then I would put in Reba McEntire or Garth brooks cassette tape in the cassette player and listen to it over and over again til I fell asleep. I would watch tv sometimes but we didn't get a tv in our bedrooms til I was like 12 or 13 when they started to become more affordable. After we got a tv in our bedrooms then I started leaving it on but a lot of times the music channel was the only thing on worth watching when you had basic cable.

It would truly be a boring existence without the benefit of music in our lives. I can't imagine what kind of world that would be. Music inspires and motivates me. Music has lifted my spirits more than once in my life. I will always need music!

No, I couldn't. Music is my life, and is what I use to set whatever mood I want. It really just makes the day go by faster, whether I'm on a treadmill or stuck in traffic. Lord knows I need it when I'm stuck in traffic!!! It depends on what I'm studying, and the music has to be just right to help me concentrate. And I really can't exercise without music, because it keeps me going, no matter how fast I'm running or how much weight I'm lifting!

music washes the dust life creates.
i also am a music lover. i choose mellow and ballad songs, though. i am also very particular with the lyrics of the song i listen to. if i like the melody and the lyrics of the song is not 'good' for me, i just change the lyrics.
i also like classical music especially when i am enjoying those silent times. it makes me calm.

I love listening to music but music is not as so important in my life as it is in yours. Music helps me to relax when I'm tired or depressed, but it kind of distracts my attention when I'm studying. I want my surroundings to be absolutely quiet when I'm trying to focus attention.

While I do enjoy music my world is not centered around it. I would of course need to come up with an alternative way to teach my daughter her alphabet, but this would not be impossible. Music like so much else is simply a tool, not a life force of its own. It is not something we as a society can not live without, but it is definitely enjoyable to have it.

I really don't believe I could manage without music. I imagine I would listen to about 8 hours of music per day if I am at home for the majority of the day, sometimes even more!
Here are someof things I do whilst listening to music:
1. I fall asleep listening to music nearly every night
2. I study whilst listening to music
3. I drive my car listening to music, it makes it far more interesting and not as boring as it otherwise would have been.
4. I listen to music while generally relaxing, it is an awesome leisurely activity.
Judging from all that I listed, I really don't think I could go without music. It is a major part of my life. I am also a musician myself and so I love listening to music and getting new ideas.
Without music, life would be nowhere near as fun! :)
