What would be the greatest challenge you encounter in your school days. For me it was during my college days that I only eat once a day for almost a month because of financial problem. It happened when my allowance in DOST (Department of Science and Technology) Scholarship were delayed for 3 months, and because my parent can not afford to give me allowance so what I did is to budget my money from my scholarship allowance and by God's Grace I made it and I finished my College with that great trials in life, I have to maintain my Good Grades with a once a day meal. God is Good. How about you?

I must say you have got a great determination. As for me, I am still a college student, and have not yet faced many remarkable challenges.

Just do your best for your studies, don't aim for good but for best.

I had an experience which was somewhat like yours but not as challenging: When I was studying as an exchange student in the US, I prepaid a considerable sum of money to my host university to cover my tuition, lodging, insurance, living expenses, etc. Out of this amount, I was supposed to receive a cash stipend from the university every semester for living expenses. For once, the cheque was delayed and I had to ask my family back home to send me money via wire transfer. It took a few days for the wire transfer money to reach me and during that few days I virtually had no cash with me: I had around $2 in my savings account and another $3 loose change. I tried to retrieve the $2 from my bank account to add to my $3 change so that I have enough money for a lunch. But the minimum withdrawal amount from ATM machine was $5! It turned out that I had to line up in the bank to deposit my $3 cash into my bank account before I could get my total $5 out from the account! It was so embarrassing, the cashier who did the transcaction must think what kind of broke student would deposit $3 and then take $5 out? That was my greatest challenge in terms of financial shortage.
