Actually it depends...
Nuclear family have more privacy and much peaceful but join family is more enjoyable and you'll get closer with your cousins and aunt.

I like in a nuclear family with one brother, and one sister, two sisters are already married. So I prefer to be in nuclear family when I get married too and fortunately my boyfriend has his house separately to stay so better for me.
