It's fine with me, after all, it's the Filipino audience that the anime is being shown to. They're not as good as the original voice actors (called seiyuu in japanese)but as long as the voicing don't look to awkward (like, for example, voice and lips not in sync) i have no problem with it. good thing with the filipino dub is that they stay faithful to the original script yet squeeze in a bit of pinoy touch along with it. :)

I also think that Filipino Dubbers really do a good job in dubbing some Asianonelas, but all animes. Their voices are quite believable and the emotion too. But yeah, sometimes in Asianovelas the voices don't fit the character- but only sometimes..but for the anime, I think it's okay....

The only thing I can say is Filipinos are one of the best dubbers and maybe "the best". I love it when the dubbing director really put everything to make it real voice of the character or make it more appealing than the original. I hate it when the dubbing director had no full control of the dubbing. Specially if the TV station want someone to be the voice of the character even though they are not fit in that part. I remember watching a koreanovela in a DVD then I tried to watched it in this TV station. I was disappointed when I heard to voice of one of the character. In the DVD the character's original voice was a bass type but when I heard it in this TV station the voice was tiny like an elf's voice. Man it was awful!

filipino dubbed telenovelas are ok. especially we do not understand mandarin, cantonese, japanese, korean and spanish. it would help us understand the stories of what we are watching. and with all due fairness, they are neatly dubbed. my only take on English Anime and teleseries is that they shouldn't be dubbed in Filipino anymore since English is the universal language. there is nothing wrong with having them dubbed in filipino. however, the viewers can understand english anyway. plus this would only help them. i have a sordid reaction when i first say Spongebob Squarepants dubbed in Filipino. the kids can learn english especially this is a popular TV show.

On anime It's ok though (voice) but they really need to adopt words from japanese to make it cool. especially the jutsus and some other japanese words like "sensei" only and not "sensei teacher" for Naruto... On telenovelas no comment im not interested anyway =(

i prefer watching dubbed anime and telenovelas because I don't have much patience reading the subtitle. Filipino dubbers are fantastic, it's amazing to find out that the real voice sounds almost same to the dubbed version.
