depending on how much soap scum., white vinegar always seems to help., having onec removed the scum., ordinary glass cleaner whether a cheap brand or one of the main leading brands will shine it up for you no problem., you can use white vinegar neat., and it wont harm the glass or plastic but rinse off well and dry off too... it may take acouple of applications but eventually it will remove.. glass cleaner will also do the chrome and the tiles too and then you end up with a showers/bathroom tiles that are straight out of an advert off the tele.. with out all those supa lights making things look shinier than they are. one of the better products on the market is cillet bang it really does do what it says.. so soap scum., might actually be lime scales build ups and this why you not having much luck.. lime scale remover like cillet bang will instantly remove the lot., use spareingly and move around with a soft sponge and rinse off well.... happy cleaning artizan

Hi, I agree with Artizan on the Cillit Bang, wonderful product to clar limescale which this is most likely to be especially if you live in a hard water area. I visited my brothers house when he first moved in and he has a walk in shower so whole doors and they were covered I used this Cillit Bang and ut removed it all, once removed naturals products like the lemon and bi carbonate of soda of baking powder will keep it clean. Good luck with it all Sue han. Excellent advice Artizan. Huggles. Ellie :D

i clean the shower glass every time i take a shower without a products but with a tool which takes away the water, if you remove the water after your shower, the glasses will not be dirty. Once a month i use a product called viakal witch removes watermarks. at a tv program i had seen that you can clean the glasses with banana's peel. i haven't tested it. try it and tell us the results

Such good advice from everyone.I should imagine that banana peel would be hard to get off if you let it dry and you would be left with the same problem

the removal of the water eliminates lime scale which are the marks that look like water droplets.. so if surface doest like to be left to dry., then would suggest that it limescale combined with the soap and that why not having any effect... bananna peel works but then you have to clean that off, messy, and if left wet after wards you are left with the same problem

I have a little tip I was given by a friend, I use tumble dryer sheets dampened, scrub the surface well with it. Then rinse and wipe dry.

Scrub it down with an SOS pad, use wet washcloth to remove SOS soap, pour water over the area to get the last of it off. Presto soap scum gone. I have discovered that my favorite and most useful household product is as simple as an SOS pad. For everything except the carpet, stuffed animals, etc it is what works. For the carpet, stuffed animals, etc hot soapy water and a bit of elbow grease. I used to spend all that money on expensive products, then I wised up.

What is a SOS soap pad ? Is that like a soapy steel wool pad ? It sounds good and I agree a little elbow grease is a lot cheaper
