Hi myLotters! There a lot of chocolate lovers out there.A lot of brands, tastes of chocolate too.Sometimes you can't just decide which one to buy as there are many choices and brands.when you want to eat and buy them which are the factors that will make you think twice when you purchase them?their tastes, the packaging or the manufacturer?:)

i will see for taste, and packing. i wont see for company name or manufacturer. if i see any attracted packets of chocolates i prefer to buy for me sometimes or i will buy new varieties for any of my relatives if i visit them. i dont eat direct chocolates. i will add chocolate powder in my cake recipes and biscuit recipes. and i will add chocolate powder to icecream recipes which i make in my home. if i want to take chocolates,i like to take chocolate wraffers more and i eat them more. i also like donuts with chocolate topping.

hi pan! no matter how you apply it to your food, you are still a chocolate lover!like you pan, most of my favorite foods there are chocolates in there.donuts with chocolate topping, how can i avoid it?there are just my favorites!yeah we tend to not bother too much about the manufacturers, brand and all that, as the most important thing is it should taste good, really good!

As a kid I tended to choose by what they appeared like, I quickly learned that wasn't the best way in choosing and I pretty much from that point on how the product tasted. I obviously trusted cadbury, as I like their style of chocolate and I would always go mad on crunchies. Now I don't really have much chocolate and I think my kids pretty much go on how the product looks. Will be interesting to see how they change as they get older.

The taste and packaging would be the most important for me. I like chocolate that is fresh and firm. And if the candy bar is bent, I will not buy it.

of course we won't buy it if there is something wrong with the chocolate like you mentioned above - bend, get scratch etc.it is the best if the chocolate looks is similar to it taste.good looks with good taste equal to happy and delightful!

Well, I really go for the taste of course. But if I plan to try a new brand, I consider the chocolate's possibility to taste good, then look of the packaging, then the manufacturer. But if it's for gifts, I consider the looks more. :)

I always purchase chocolate based off of how it tastes. Of course over time I have begun to lean towards certain brands because I know they have good chocolate, while sadly that can not be said of all companies. I also tend to go just for chocolate, not with nuts or filled with random flavors, but chocolate. And there are few enough companies you can get plain good old fashioned chocolate from.

yes, not all chocolate companies provide chocolate with good tastes.sometimes the taste just so-so.but once we know the chocolate is tasty we will go for it again and again.i love plain chocolates but i prefer them with nuts especially almonds and hazel nut.here in my country, cadbury, beryl's and van hauton are some of the popular chocolate companies and i love their chocolates.how about you?what are the brands you like the most?

CT, i think if not mistaken, you can found this chocolate in Jusco or even Carrefour. I even seen them and indeed it is not a cheap chocolate brand.

I know that popular Hershey chocolate has many tasty products but I can't afford to buy them they are too expensive for me like Ferrero~ I would love to try the one you proposed to me!! I will try to search for the small packaging and try the taste of it!

I go for the taste always. All companies are concentrating on packing and so it will not make a great difference. And I won't mind trying new varieties of a particular brand. But continuing the chocolate depends on its taste alone.

As for me, i always buy chocolate made by Cadbury and Ferrero. They are delicious yet can be enjoyed by any generation. Although Ferrero is quite expensive, but i will still buy it during special occasion. Because i like the packaging, which is very stylish and suitable as a gift. I think i just can't escape from eating chocolates since they are too delicious for me to resist them.

That's why, i only buy Ferrero during special occasion, too. Wow, i am unable to eat that much like you. I often ate a little at a time and will continue to eat again when i feel want to eat it. I don't want to grow fat because of chocolate....

Luckily I will not grow fat even if I ate it that much.(^^) But still not good for the health right. So my rules now it having chocolate once in a month. I bought some and will finish them quickly- since I can't wait and will wait for next month to purchase the new one. Since ferrero looks exclusive so we just have it rarely. Cadbury produced the new type of chocolate with France Vanilla. Have you try it out??(^^)

How could we resist them from our life???(^^) I will have Ferrero just once in a while. I can't afford to have them everyday sis. And a few balls of ferrero will not satisfied me....I like chocolate very much so whenever I have them I tend to finish them up in a few minute!! I think Cadbury is the most popular chocolate here as it is much more affordable.(^^)

I think it is the taste, as i dearly love chocolate and I don't care who the manufacturer is, I will buy it. I do buy candy bars sometimes, even though I really shouldn't have them, but it is just so good, and it is really my downfall, as I can eat way to much of it, so I do need to watch it. When I was a child, I was allergic to chocolate, but I don't think I am now at my age of 62. I still don't try to overdo it, as it puts on more weight which I don't need and if I eat to much it can make me sick. I will not give it up though. Take care, and have a good day.

yeah we will choose the favorite through the taste.that is the min reason we will looking for when purchase anything not just chocolate.yet somehow we might know the taste through their wrappers-the design and the manufacturers-the quality(based from the past experiences). i love candy bars and if i really craving for it i will buy more than i should.but moderation intakes is what we should concern more as like you said it will give a bad effects to the body.i will not too. same goes to you~

Chocolate to me has to be all about the taste first. If it tastes good, it's worth it. Packaging is just a pretty wrapper. It is a way of luring you to the chocolate. I could do without the packaging, Just give me the chocolate. Manufacturers come and go. You either like their chocolate or you don't.

First of all, the taste is the most important for me. Then I consider who is the manufacturer. And the packaging is the least problem... I hate the imitation of chocolate, for example, the marzipan.

Hi,CTHanum! The one influences me most is definitely the taste. If it tastes good,I will buy it for many times. If it is not tasty, then I will never purchase it again. The packaging and brand sometimes influence my choice. But the taste is always on the top of my list. Have a good day!

chocolate, oh i love chocolates so much, whether its white or black or anything... yummy... But what attracts me most maybe the manufacturer and of course the packaging.. If the presentation is really good then it helps a lot. But it is also the manufacturers name that matters especially if they are well known. whatever it is, as long as its chocolate i would grab it... hehehe... because it makes me feel better and in love all the time.. :)

I'd choose for the taste! I'm only gonna buy chocolate that I'm familiar with and I don't care if the unfamiliar brand got more interesting packaging or not. I really love roasted almond milk chocolate from Whittaker's and Cadbury :)
