Why i can't send a message?

i want to send a message to a user who is not my friend, am i doing something wrong ? or the system doesn't allow me to do it? i hope the second otherwise i will feel like an idiot.Can you help me?

You can't send a message to anyone who is not your friend. This is the rule of Mylot. If you really want to PM him/her, then at first you have to add him/her as your friend and get his/her acceptance. I love China

I think you have to be a friend before you can send the user a message. I've never tried to send a user (that wasn't my friend) a message before but I'm pretty sure you have to be their friend to be able to send a message to them.

yes it is the second the one so relax you are not an idiot. on mylot you can only send a message to your friends. so send an add request to the user you want to send a message. wait till the user approves and then you can send a message once you become friends. as simple as that.
