hello my lotters
can you suggest me what is the best PC anti virus software in home without an internet connection... i.e. offline ... and where to get update for that software

There is a Premium version which is paid, and a free version for which you don't have to pay. Of course the premium is better, and I recommend it.:)
I've used it for 2 months, and I'm very satisfied from it.
This is not the first Antivirus program that I've ever used. So among the other free software I recommend this one and Comodo. Comodo was one of the best absolutely free antivirus programs for 2009.

i don't recommend kapersky, try using nod32 or mccafee if you don't have any internet connection.

Right now i am using Rising anti virus. It's very good. It always protect my laptop.
Before i used AVG. It's also very good.
So you can try both. Both are best. But AVG is more popular then Rising.

i never heard about rising ... thanks for your suggestion.. now im using kaspersky 2010 but i cant update without net connection ... so i need to get update version easily like patch so that it will be easy for me to update without online

There are free and paid antiviruses and if u want to get free downloading u can have avira anitivirus or AVG and if want the best one u will have to spend some money for NORTON which is i think the best

For me i think all anti-virus is good as long it is updated.
