I am currently an English tutor and I am now tutoring Koreans. I am still new to this,I have just worked for 2 months now. So I still don't know if I will get bored in the future, but for now, I am just having fun. I love my job, aside from I get overpaid I also learn new words and learn another language. I never really thought that doing this could be fun also.

No, I am not Korean, I am a Filipino. I also am familiar with other languages, like Japanese since I have a Japanese blood. And I can say that comparing Nihongo (Japanese language) Korean language is easier, in fact I can even remember more Korean words than Nihongo words.

Well this is a tricky question, but good one. I joined the current job for money, but i had some ideas in my mind to do the work which i am passionate about. I kept working on those along with the current job. Now they have identified my extra skills and have given me the job of my type. So I am happy as of now.

I am in the same boat with you, danoluma.
Although I am not very happy with my job, I must do it for money.
Coz my father can't support me with the money I want, he's old 51 already nearly pension.
So I must survive in the "dog eat dog world" as the chinese says competing with each other to get a job or money and don't care what the situation!

Yes I do, very much. My job is, well, now was very stressful but I interact with so many people and there is such a variety in my position. The reason I said was is because my company is downsizing and I am out the door with check in hand June 30th. But this was a great job and sure there will be another. When one door closes another opens. My suggestion ot you is to look for another job before leaving this one. Jobs are hard to come by right now. Just try and get through your day, because at the end of the day you get to go home, YAY!

Either get a job which you can love or love the job which you are doing. By all means keep your search on for what you will love to do. Till that time you love what you are doing.

I love my job. The job itself. But I'm not satisfied with my basic pay yet knowing that my job grade will get higher and get paid better. I'm really working hard to learn a lot of things so I'll get promoted someday. I'm not on a hurry. I'm enjoying what I do. :)

I would have to say I do not love my job. But it's all I have at the moment. And it pays the bills, so I don't really do alot of complaining about my job. It can be hard at times. And it does take me away from my wife and 3 boys for 20 days at a time. So no i do not love my job. I am more of a family man.

Right now, I have a part-time job that I mostly love. Some days I come home wanting to pull my hair out though. Kids just do that to you sometimes. I work at after-school care for parents who can't be home when the normal day of school ends. I want to be a teacher someday too.
