Well,Simon is leaving American Idol. For sure,he is very mean and harsh. He always gives the players a hard time.Sometimes people hate him.But for me,I think American Idol will be a little boring without him.
So what's your view on Simon's leaving? Is it a good thing or a bad one?

When Paula left, I barely watch the show. And now if Simon leaves, I won't watch the show at all. Its all going to be a new show. Because honestly, I watched the show just to hear Simon complaining on people voices. It's funny as much as it's irritating you....I always get this love-hate feeling every time I see Simon.

I felt quite emotional when they were singing to him as their way to say good-bye. I think the show will be definitly different for the next season but as Paula put it, the show will go on. I think his other show The X Factor will be just as popular. I'm going to check it out if they have it on the American channels because then that means it's coming to Canada YAY!
Take care

Actually I'm really sad to see him go. Because he was always honest and that is what people sometimes needed to hear when trying out for the show. So I always enjoyed watching him and seeing his input on what people did on the show and for the past couple of seasons I've been agreeing with him for some reason and I think he's right most of the time. Now that he is leaving, I'm not planning on watching any more of american idol. I think alot of viewers will be doing the same thing as well. We'll see though.

Yeah, It will be boring without Simon Cowell. He's actually one of the reasons I still watch American Idol. :) He is really an important part of the show. It would not be the same without him. In my opinion, Simon Cowell leaving is a bad thing. Well, because many people watch American Idol because of Simon Cowell. When someone mentions "American Idol", the first thing that comes to people's minds is Simon Cowell. Now, with him gone, it will never be the same again. :) Happy MyLotting! :D

Simon was always right. He knows what's good and what's really bad and his confidence in knowing is what gives him the right, so to speak, to be "mean," which is just being honest. Honestly, I'm more surprised that Idol audiences still boo him. Like what else is there to expect?
I was liking Simon more and more each season. I was noticing that he was warming up more and more to the American culture. If this is the case, though, then he'd soften up all the more in the years to come and that would be bad for business.
I'll miss Simon. I feel like I know him. He deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for discovering so many talents, and for what Ricky Gavais calls him: King Maker.

Yeah,it is true that he has contributed a lot to discover many talents.I think some people boo him because he is too harsh. He is too honest. Not everyone wants others to be so straightforward. But we will still love Simon no matter how others judge him.Right?
Have a nice day!

For me Simon is a good judge if he leaves, American Idol will be boring. He throws more sense of humor in the show. And besides, the contestants who joins there thinks that Simon's comments serves as a challenge for them to improve themselves more. Well, I like his attitude when it comes to judging, he is very straightforward, he will say what he want to say. It's bad that I will not see him in the next season of American Idol.

End of an era! I think its going to go down the pan after he leaves. I thought he was the main judge on there, everyone else just seems to be guests.

I don't think the show will be much without him, but then again we were scared about Paula leaving and it worked out ........ We will just have to see who the replacement judge will be.

I am shocked that Siomn is leaving. I woud have thought he would have stuck it through, now Randy is the only one left of the orgenal three. Its going to be diffferent without him, and personally I feel he will be greatly missed. He was harsh, but that's what most love about him. Not holding anything back.

Being in the UK I suppose I can't really comment, but I know that his programmes here ( X Factor and Britain's Got Talent) wouldn't be the same without him.
I don't think that his comments are too mean or harsh - he just tells it like it is!!
He makes me laugh
I see that you are getting the X Factor - you'll love that I'm sure , it's very popular over here.

I truly believe the show will end after the 10th season. I can't imagine who could take his place. I loved Simon because he was brutally honest. Everyone always waited to hear what he had to say. I think only if they had a person like Elton John, Prince or Robert Foster it may work. However, I'm sure these guys don't want this gig so it will fail without Simon.

I think Simon leaving would really affect the show in a big way, I think it would not be as nice without him. He may be mean and hard to please but his advices are sometimes true. He is the one who gave American Idol a spice. American Idol will not be the same without him.
