The weirdest thing has been happening to me for years, for no reason at all I will once or twice a month wake up just crying! Weird huh! No apparent reason for this happening. This has always bothered me and I don't know why this happens to me. Do you ever wake up crying for no reason?

hi free_man,
i remembered when i woke up crying its when i have a dream which causes me my life.
i dreamt of dying and i was in the hospital breathing my last breath until all my blood flows out of my pores all over my body.really scary and frightening,my friend!
i have also dreamed that same night my family members also passed away then i was the last one to die. i never liked dreaming these things.it's really not good for dreaming these.makes me feel weak and sad the whole day.i wish i would never dream that again.

WOW!!!
that was great experience,my friend!
i have been facing such accidents myself in my past.and still surviving them, but i didn't get where you came from.where you have heard voices and have been to the clouds. i have hit by the rushing bicycle which bumped my head.also hit by the truck that has no breaks also hit my head. i was gone from my conscience back that time.but i didn't experience seeing and hearing voices from other world.
you still have a mission in life,my friend.that's why He send you back to earth.
well,i myself don't know my mission till now. why has GOD brings me back to life?
what is my real purpose here on earth? well, maybe i have to experience more to be a better individual to others. but sometimes i still cry for the fact that why did He not take my life before? why do i have to face such miseries and failures in life?
when will i live happily with someone i want to live with the rest of my life?
so many questions,still left unanswered.

Sure have, man! Twice! I was in 2nd year college, while sleeping in my room, I heard a voice saying, "He's entering!" While my eyes were still close I felt Jesus entering my room. Something in me told me it was him. Then he stopped by my bed and touched my chest. It was then a cried like a baby and then "woke up." I cried for about 15 minutes. That was when I was being rebellious to God. It happened a second time when I already had a family and was a pastor. He did it again and I cried waking up!

I agree Free Man! And I think God is also about to give you something extraordinary--the crying-as-you-wake-up thing is only a herald. More to come! Brace yourself! God is great!

There had been nights were I would wake up crying, though I know that it's because of a dream. I always have dreams which are so dramatic and heavy that sometimes, when I wake up, I would just continue crying, and then fall asleep again, and when I wake up in the morning, it would feel like I have not slept at all. But I have never woken up crying and not knowing the reason why. That would be really weird. hehehe.

They say that dreams are the fragments of your unconscious mind, so maybe your dream meant something.. Though I'm just really guessing here. LOL.
Hope you'll have better and happier dreams in the nights ahead.

Hi Ingkingderders. Thanks this dream only happens once in awhile not too often. I think the dream stems from fighting with my sisters long ago when they started trying to get me to be a topless dancer with them. They make a lot of money at this but I don't believe they have ever been truly happy with their lives. And besides if God wanted me to sell my body then I would have been born with a for sale sign tattooed across my chest. I can't get along with any of them for more then a few minutes. They have nice homes and nice clothing and everything money can buy but their souls are lost to the LORD. I would rather be poor and have Gods blessings then to be rich and have God upset with me. Thanks my dreams have been good lately.

Hi Ingkingderders. I know it is weird cause I hardly ever cry about anything. Things that make me mad will make me cry sooner then a loved one dying. If I get mad and start to shed a tear it would be best to run and hide till I am calmed down. Sometimes I will continue to cry for a bit of time but it never last for more then 30 minutes. I will tell my husband the dream and we will talk about it and soon we have figured out why I was crying. My husband will hold me and comfort me till I am okay agin. I didn't know if anyone else suffers from this or not. The dream I had last night was really weird I was fighting with my sister which I haven't seen in some 20 odd years cause we don't live close enough to drive in less then a day.

Hi Prasunsam. Wow that dream would have made me cry too! The night before my mom passed away we had an argument cause she would hang up the phone in mid conversation. I didn't have a lot of time to chat with her and I wanted to see if she needed anything and she just plain hung up the phone didn't say goodbye or go to hell didn't say anything. I had to call her back 3times and that just pissed me off more. So I didn't take the time to go see her, she lived an hour away from me and I had so many things to do that day. But I felt that was the last time I would ever hear her voice again. And I still didn't take the time I didn't have the time to take for her. Sure enough my sister called me the next day to tell me she had passed away at 8 pm that night. The dream I had last night was about an argument with my sister and I think that is what stemmed my crying this morning! Hope your mother is fine and doing great! Take care of her and do everything you can to help her cause that is the only mother you will ever have and you don't want regrets after her passing!

i too sometimes wake up crying.
sometimes i've seen the last shadow of a dream drifting away and it's so sad i'm not surprised i have tears in my eyes, other times i don't see anything.
Sometimes it's cause something has slipped in there.
Soemtimes i just don't know why. But i dry my eyes from salt water and sleep and get on with my day.
a slightly cheesy biblical verse says that weeping is for the night and joy comes in the morning, as i go to bed in the morning it's not surprising my body is confused!

Hi Gfeef and welcome to my lot. It surprises me every time it happens. I was tired last night but didn't go to bed till late. I had worked in the garden all day in the heat and I was wore out. Seems like that is the times when this happens the most. I don't know guess it was cause I was so wore out. I used to work the third shift and would wake up during the day crying it seemed like it was many times back then. So that could be that your body is confused. Do you know where that verse is in the bible I sure would like to read it? Thanks!

I had times when I cried when I was sleeping. I really do not remember in detail what happened but mostly it was some one close to me dying. It is a hard reality to accept that everyone we love will sooner or later die..

Hi Jqacobus and welcome to my lot. I used to cry when someone I know would die until I learned that when we die we go straight to the FATHER in heaven God. So that don't bother me anymore. No I worry about those that are still living. Life is hard on all of us unless we can start to trust in the LORD Jesus Christ.

But sadly losing someone and knowing we would never see again is hard to accept. We all have to encounter this hard fact of life. But, hey hopefully all of us can cope and accept. And hopefully, our love ones will see us in heaven as well.

Hi Carl. It always shocks me when I wake up from a dream crying. That is what I do when I get mad and when I do it not wise to be in my way. Better to run not walk in the other direction when I shed a tear. I guess I do that cause of my brothers they used to try and make me as tough as them so when I would start to cry they would tell me to get madder not be a sissy. And the dream I will be having is usually when I am in an argument with my sisters. Thanks for the response.

Yup that happened to me before, but i was crying as well in my dream so when i woke up, the tears were just a 'carry-over' from that dream. I never woke up crying with no reason though. Either i was crying due to my dream, or i was emotionally bothered, thats why i cry as soon as i wake up. Maybe you're just having some mood swings thats why you cry for no reason, lol.

I know my husband will sometimes cry when he has a bad dream. He does not always remember the dream but he does wake up crying. I know that sometimes I will wake up screaming. I wonder if you have such a powerful dream that it made you cry. Sometimes people do not remember what they dream about.

Hi Randy. I don't know I think the dreams that make me do this is when I am in an disagreement of some kind. Just seems strange I never really thought about it but when this happened I was really upset more then usual. I don't know what it means but some how God will show me what it is all about. Thanks. I don't remember ever waking up screaming that would be weird. Do you know why your screaming when you wake up? Seems odd what all of us have in some sort or common. Thanks!

Hello, free_man~
If I have, it was a super long time ago. But I know I've had dreams that have thrown me off or have upset me! Are you able to remember your dream when you wake up crying? When you cry, what do you feel? And what do you think?
People say, it was just a dream! At times, that's true. But sometimes, dreams indicate to us how we feel about things in life--either in the present or in the past. If this happens on a fairly regular basis, you might consider what the dream is, what you feel during the dream, what you feel and think when you cry...all these things might be an indicator of an unresolved internal conflict. If you're comfortable, you might discuss this with your spouse or closest friend. They may or may not be able to help you with this. (I wouldn't place too much expectation on them.) If talking with your spouse or friend doesn't help, you might consult a counselor. Seeing that your dream is enough to send you to tears and seeing as this dream occurs over and over and has for years, this is worth some investigating on your part.
I would pray about it and consider talking with a counselor about it. Jesus is called the "Wonderful Counselor" and loves to help us with our troubles. He also uses people He has given us, such as family, friends and professional counselors.
I hope something in this posting is helpful to you~

Hello Artsyfartsygal and welcome to my lot. When I get angry I cry first and then I am not a good person to make mad. I think in all the times I have woke up crying I was having an argument with someone. I have been stressed out lately because of things happening to people that are close to me. A friend just went to jail for something I don't think he did and the people that caused him to go to jail are not decent people. I think that is why I woke up crying this morning. I thank God that I do have a real understanding husband and I can share my thoughts with him. He is a kind and loving man and I thank God for him!

Hi Ruakawa and welcome to my lot. I seem to always to be in an argument when I have these dreams. When I get pissed off my eyes will just start to pour. If I start to cry then it is best if the person that has made me mad to run and don't stop! I don't cry over the loss of a person because I know as soon as we die we go to the FATHER God and what better place can we be then in Heaven with God!

Hi Mickycheng and welcome to my lot. That must have been hard on you with a fever. I don't have nightmares really just ones where I am fighting with my siblings, which is odd since I haven't seen any of them in over 20 years. My reasons I won't be bullied by my older siblings.

And, i end up breaking down, i wasn't going to let anyone see me crying, so i left the classroom. Even thinking about it just, annoys me.

Hi Pwnson and welcome to my lot. I don't worry about crying in front of others when I hear something that is sad. Sounds like God gave you a tender heart. When you cry, worry and are sad about someone you don't even know I think it is cause God gave you a tender heart. That is a good thing!
