Ancient aliens, UFO's, 2012, Disclosure - what's going on?

We've all heard the hype about UFO disclosure being imminent, the end of the world as we know it in 2012 (and the start of a new one) and even several highly respected scientists including astronauts have claimed that we already have knowledge of and have had contact with extra-terrestrial life. Buzz Aldrin has spoken about it publicly, Edgar Mitchell has spoken about it on UK radio and nobody (except NASA) is denying it. Recently the UK government stated in 2008 they would be disclosing information over the next four years. In other words by 2012, why by then? The UK government did start releasing files on the International Archives website but for some reason most of the content they posted has now been removed. What's going on in your opinion and what are your thoughts on the subject?

well for me no one know when will this thing happen, 2012 is only a movie I think its another way to make it more interesting to watch.

The whole 2012 subject is based on the end of the Mayan calender which ends 21st December 2012. It only happens every two thousand-odd years and according to history and astrology it marks the end of an era and the start of a new beginning.

well if you believe in mayan, this is only my point of view, all I know is, there is only one who knows when it will happen and that only one I'm talking about is our Creator, for me no mortals can predict when this END will happen,

Not a question of believing in it because it does exist, it's a major historial discovery. What it means or what it was used for in those times is a completely different question. Funny how we always assume that there's only one creator, we might have many creators and it still ultimately begs the question of who created them.
