I don't use the chat feature on Facebook. It's a lot of bother because Facebook isn't the only window I have available and I'll have to look through my tabs when a message comes up. Also, it interrupts when I'm playing Type Maniac...I end up hating my friends and I feel bad having to feel this way. Besides. I'm always available on other instant messenger services. I can be reached through those anyway.

No, I don't like using the Facebook chat because of some reasons. First, I always have problems with the chat function which I find very slow and takes time to show my messages. I also get disconnected from chat many times while using it. Secondly, I want to avoid some friends that i don't fancy chatting with. Thirdly, I hate to get pop-up chat messages whenever I'm in the middle of doing other things on my computer. It is such a distraction, hence I put my facebook chat turn off in default and only log in chat whenever I feel like chatting with my friends.

Hello,
No I dont enjoy using the chat function on Facebook at all. It always seems to be slow and hangs alot. I think it is something that Facebook should improve, it is after all a social network, so chatting is a very important aspect to being social.
It's maybe because the size of Facebook's membership that slows the network down.
Have a cool day in this social network.

I don't because it always freezes up but if it didn't freeze up I sure would use it.

I used to use it all of the time, but I am not on Facebook often enough for anyone to grab hold of me anymore. It really is not the greatest of Instant messengers as it is web based. TO be honest I found it far more annoying then useful and prefer IM's such as MSN as it is independent of any actual web page.
