Wii or not to Wii that is the question

Wii is really nice console. It is casual and it has best arcade games. If you are really hardcore games, you will probably play just 3-4 wii games, because there are NO more hardcore games for the Wii. It is really entertaining even playing alone on some games. Wii games are fun and relaxing. I saw you have Xbox 360... This november Kinect will come out. It is like wii, but withou the remotes - it is just camera and you play with your whole body (sony's ps3 will have "move", which will have both camera and 2 controllers like the wii), so I guess it will be fun with Kinect too, but you will only be able to play with 1 other person...

The Nintendo Wii is a fun gaming system, but I do think it's more fun if you have someone to play the games with. I like both the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii, so it's hard for me to choose one versus the other. The New Super Mario Bros. is a great Nintendo Wii game that is fun to play, whether by yourself or with someone else.

I think that you should get the wii, although it all depends on the type of games that you like to play. Its fun to play by yourself sometimes too. I play alot by myself since my husband works and its something for me to pass the time. It also helps to get you off the couch and get engaged in the game. So, in my opinion, I think that you should get the game. That sucks that your girlfriend cheated on you though. Things will get better.

I myself is an xbox360 gamer. I have always a Wii console but I bought it for my kids. I played some of the wii games and my conclusion is that wii is just fun to play when your playing with friends. I myself did not enjoy much of the wii games, although there are some fun games but most of the games is not that fun and I may say it is only for kids. If you are a serious gamer I don't recommend wii for you. Wii's graphics is way far behind compared to xbox360 and most wii games is mediocre. Just check some reviews of the wii games and you can never or seldom see it get a high score.

I think (Personally) unless your an adjustive gamer and you know how to go about playing games solo then no the Wii isn't for you. I mean I love my Wii but it's also good to figure out what games work best for you. Being an all around gamer you should really explain what your favorite types of games are and if they come out on the wii. There are some down sides to owning a Wii like the gamer functions and how each games plays differently on the Wii. Plus not every game that gets released on the Wii which is so annoying but alot of good games are on the Wii so it all depends on your gamer style and niche. Hope that helped

The wii is a good choice solo and with lots of people. It generally is better with more people because it was designed to be a party console, but there are some games that are pretty good to play solo.

I really like the Wii but then again I'm not what most people consider a hardcore gamer. I think the Wii is a great system to play with friends and for most people it can be awesome to throw parties with. I'm not the person to invite a lot of people over for parties or anything but I think for gamers that are hardcore the Wii is more of a party system. I'd try it though you may really like it.

I am sorry that your GF cheated on you, that is not right at all. The wii is an awesome console in my opinion, there are a lot of two player type games, but there are also a lot of one player games. My best suggestion for you is to to go the Nintendo website and look through the "game guide" this will help you narrow the results down by the type of games you like to play, and it will give you information like : release dates, players, ratings.

I think the wii is a good gaming syestem and is worth the money.You can also play gamecube games on the wii you just need to have some gamecube controllers,memory card and put in the game like you would a wii game.Since the game cube and wii are made by the same company.
