A lot has been happening in the world of cricket. Some of the well known players are now revealing how and when they were approached by Indian businessman who wanted to sponsor them in turn of fixing matches. It’s a shocker not only for the players involved but for all the cricket lovers around the world. It will definitely affect the charm of the game. People will lose the trust on the game and the players.
I promised me not to watch and talk Cricket but failed every time. Every day a new story about player, party, BCCI, ICC, Match fixing and many more. How do I keep my interest alive?
I believe all these ill events are ruining the name of Cricket.
What do you think about it?

I can feel your anger and you sound correct. Would that some one from BCCI and IPL body could have joined social networking and read our thoughts about the cricket which is victim of all these governing bodies.
Thanks for the response.

Say it aint so. this expression came into American English by a little boy asking this question of Shoeless Joe, a player accused of throwing a baseball game back in 1919. I don't know cricket buti would love to learn. Is it hard or easy to Fix a match? Of what I have seen , Cricket is a beautiful game. Please don't let these bad stories tarnish your love of the sport. This story is fleeting.

There are too many cricket lovers disappointed with these every day issues of match fixing and board creating problems.
Thanks for the response.

Hi Ajay, we have stocks to gamble with, we have foreign exchange to gamble with, we have roulette, poker, and flash to gamble with, why cricket? :( I really feel so bad that people bring in gambling with healthy sports. :(

Hennie proving such things costs! Why should taxpayer's money be used for something that is not going to fetch any returns, not do good to people, not feed or cure people?
No - I'd rather legalize it. There would be no need to ban anybody once it is legalized. Yes, Hansie Cronje was a great Captain. Pity he got into such controversy.

I agree Hansie was a great caption but again victim of all these dirtyness. Whatever we are reading or watching all news about fixing or anything else, may be there is a possibility that few players were involved but these big names seems to be away from all these.
Hennie - law need proof and the one who are playing these are lucky enough to hide from flawfull laws.
I believe that bookies are the culprit and should be caught and punished.
Vanadana - as you said there are many other gambles so leave crickt and invest in those.
Hope, things will improve.
