Yes I did, just to gain some more friends. But searching for a partner? nope, I won't find a partner here online for their are many people hide their real identities.

It really works in the initial days , you will be able to communicate to a person whom you were not in touch for many years but that doesn't get you a physical touch of relationship, it always works on the time availability but surely it helps in connecting people, but when friends list increases and when lot of people join in you will not be able to enjoy things which irritates you when you want to be alone,

I haven't tried those, only social networking sites like Facebook and Friendster. However, I know of someone who has tried those services. She's older and was just trying to see if she could find someone there. I think it's different for younger people as compared to the older ones. Hi there. I have never joined in such a site for finding friends online. I'm not very sure this is a good idea. And yeah, I think it's a work of frustration guys.
