Hot Days, Jumping in cool water, grilled Hamburgers or Hot Dogs on a charcoal grill, all of these things remind me of summer. Anyone else excited about the warm weather?

There are many things to be said for Summer, the most for all the fresh food we get, but I can't stand the heat so it's not my favorite time of year.

I lived 50 years on the Mojave Desert in California, 90 was a cool day in the Summer. Now I live in S. Oregon and 90 is about the hotest it gets, we usually have a couple of days over a 100 but not many. I ususally do my outside work before 10:00AM or after 4:00PM to avoid the really hot times.

Yes, summer is here and that is my favorite season. In my locality it was warm and sunny yesterday. Today it is cool and rainy. I like hot days when I can go to the sandy beaches and have walks in the green countryside. I am hoping to move to a bungalow and then in my garden get a summer house. I hope that you will have a wonderful summer this year.

Hi there Roleez1!
Well, summer is almost over here in the Philippines and I am so looking forward to colder days, I hope there are colder days coming. My summer were filled with wedding preparations for my cousin, the wedding itself, shopping, spending time with friends and family, swimming and birthdays.

hi roleez1 as a senior citizen in a retirement center and bored with it'summer here in California is just an extension of spring but once it gets too hot here we get v ery uncomfortable,we are spoiled I guess as the weather here is good the year around . right now is best with the 70 degree temps and sometimes a breeze and you wear a light sweater. hurrah for California.
