I have a grandson who is extremely intolerant to peanuts as well as other stuff. It is difficult for his mum to regulate his diet. Is there a cure for this type of food allergy and how do we go about treating him.

You need to go to his doctor and see what you guys can do to go about it. I know that some allergies are so bad that you wouldn't want to mess with it on your own. So many things now days have peanut oil in them. Your best bet is to take him to the doctors let them run the test to see what all he is allergic to for sure and then have all your questions written down you want to ask. I won't take what people say to try this or that on anyone of my 4 grandkids.

Thanks for that. He is under his doctor and back to a very basic diet and his Mum has just started introducing him to milk products and a few other things a bit at a time. There is a medical team in Melbourne working on a cure by introducing a small amount of peanut and increasing it daily under strict supervision to eventually cure it. Some times there is a natural substance that can be tolerated by some of these types of allergies and ease things a bit. I was hoping that maybe someone may have some tips along those lines.
