How often do you do a shopping spree and never realized that your credit card bills have already gone up the roof, and you can't pay for it anymore? I am actually in that situation right now, well, at least I was. I am now trying to keep up with the payments, so far its doing good, hopefully by the end of this year, I would have already zero balance.
How about you mylotter, what are your experiences with credit cards?

I've never been in that situation before. I don't really go out shopping too much. I only buy some stuff with my credit card like some toiletries and miscellaneous stuff like pocket notebooks and pen. I never overspend using credit card. I prefer buying stuff using cash.

Before I was too afraid to get a credit card because in some other people experiences, they tend to overspend. They know that they can pay it later on. but then, they realized too late, that they are already way beyond the limit. And its just too late.

Well, if you know you can't spend too much using it then you can get one. It has it's advantages too like whenever you have to spend on emergencies, or there are appliances that offers installment payments using credit cards.

I'm very careful with my 2 credit cards. I only use them for airline tickets and renovations for my house. I don't use them for clothes shopping or food. I use a debit card for thoses things. I always pay more then the minimum. Hopefully when my house gets sold I will have them all paid off this year and then only keep one for emergencies.

I always plan if Im gonna buy something today or some other day. im not a on the spot buyer even if I see something I really like. I would just tell myself, hey , I dont have plans to buy anything today. i just wanna go around and hang out. And thank God I still have the control to do that.

usually when we need to buy expensive items we choose to buy it with credit cards under installment plans at zero interest, that generally how and what we use our credit cards for.
It's good that you are trying to keep up with payments. Keep it up and you'll be debt free in no time.

Yeah I think that's the best reason to use credit card, if you don't want to pay a huge sum of money for buying, let's say some appliances then a credit card using installment basis is the answer. Some cards offer zero interest which is actually great because you only pay what you really got.

I have a credit card before but I did canceled it because it gives me more problems with my monthly bill. What I had this time is only a debit card, at least I can not make any abuse with it. It is good to have a credit card but you need to discipline your self with it.
