i am a student who has a privilege for discount in transportation fare, but in our place, discount does not apply when you are not wearing your uniform. Though I said that i am a student, they would just say that I have to be in my uniform to avail of such (Even if I showed them my ID). There are some kind drivers but also, there are those who are really cruel and greedy. They would accept too many passengers just for them to have more income not thinking about the safety of his passengers. But that is a different story. Do you think it's fair for me to avail such discount, considering that there's a law regarding that? What should i do if I encounter another greedy driver?

You are allowed to travel free only for your school for your education,That is why the rule allows you only in Uniform dress.it is not fair for you to use that privilege for your personal trips. That is why you are insisted to buy a ticket when you are not in uniform.

but even though i travel for personal trips that doesn't make me any less than a student right? so, i think i'm still entitled to avail of such discount. am i right? this thing really confuses me..

Well, I think you must avail! Don't care about the greedy ones. What should you do? First of all, wear your uniform. If you wear it they would not say anything, I consider. If You don't want to wear it, and if you want to avoid such a situation in the moment you enter in "the taxi?" or what is it, say - I'll use discount, Can I use discount, something like that. If he does not want to, just leave him and take another driver. That's a solution I think. Hope this is helpful, Write what you think about this plan ?

we don't usually wear our uniforms specially during fridays and saturdays, and at this time, these drivers were taking advantage of the situation. they would ask more than what is necessary. there's this time that i told the driver that i'm a student while showing my ID and then he bluntly say something that i am not. i was shock on what he says, as he deliberately drive his mobile away from us. i'm angry at that time because of such disrespect. but i can't do anything, because he already drove away.

I suggest you show the driver your id. If he still insists then say you're gonna remember his plate number and you'll report it for violating the student code or something. Lol. Make something up. I also hate greedy drivers. Most of the time they're lousy drivers too.

for me i think once that you can show student id you should be always discounted as a student regardless if you wear uniform or not, actually here in my place drivers give discounts to student from Monday to Sunday also not included holidays.i think its not right when a student pay 100% if they wear civilian clothes.
