If it's meant to be, it will happen

i don't actually believe in the word destiny. for me, destiny is an excuse for letting things happen instead of making things happen. :) but i believe on things like, if it's not for you, no matter what you do, it couldn't yours. :) but i don't literally believe that if something is destined for you, no matter how hard you escape it, you'll just end up having that. i believe we make and choose our own decisions. it's us who make our own future. :)

I certainly do!! I will go back 38 years to tell you my experience!! I was 21, a very naive 21 year old, and expecting my first baby. In those days we didn't know so much about childbirth and what to expect, it was also before we had a telephone in the house and it was WELL before mobiles! My baby was due on the 27th January, she had not arrived by the 30th, it was a cold, snowy day. My husband had the opportunity to work a Sunday overtime, we were glad of the money with a new baby iminent. As he went off at 7.00 am he asked if I was sure I was K, I said I was although I did feel a little off!! About 5 minute after h had left I realised that I WAS having contractions. Now as I said - I was young and naive, and knew nothing of time scales involved - I was an only child so I hadn't had any prior experience. So I panicked - I had no phone , I didn't know if I could leave the house. I was praying 'please God let him come back' when the front door opened and in stormed my hubby saying 'Bl00dy car!!' - the car wouldn't start! How relieved was I, he managed to get hold of his brother to take me to hospital and my daughter was born at 1.00pm !!

I believe we have a destiny and we write it ourselves so whatever we do we have decided it to be so. I wanted something and I have worked for it so this is what I wish to say that we work for things we want to get and we write our own destiny too.

I do believe in destiny but i also believe that each and everyone of us have the power to choose that destiny.
