mothers, would you know how long SSS gives the maternity benefit of the member?

hi, i am giving birth soon and this is my first. since i am a member of SSS here in the Philippines since i started working i am wondering how long does SSS gives te maternity benefit of the member after giving birth given that i can't be at work and SSS will cover it.
Please enlighten me. Thanks.

If I am not mistaken, SSS maternity benefits are given after birth. You have to present the birth certificate of the child after birth. However, you have to apply first before you give birth.
Visit SSS so you can process your papers.

i am not yet a mother but i know about it. in my company the sss maternity benefit is giving the half of the money one month before giving birth. and the other half after giving birth. ask some information to those pople who are in charge on it on your work.

Hi! I think SSS will pay you equal to the average per day of your contribution, if the delivery is normal that's equivalent to sixty calendar days, if CS it's seventy calendar days. The count starts from the day you give birth. Hope that helps
