man dies of uterian cancer from transplant

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37381460/ns/health-cancer/ (NOT REF LINK) Man dies of uterine cancer from transplant of a kidney.. i guess they thought it wouldnt affect him because he was male but he waited FIVE YEARS for this kidney that killed him! i thought it was rule of thumb that you cant donate organs if you have had cancer?!? you cant donate blood if you have had cancer the last i heard!! do you think the hospital was right in thinking it was worth the risk? i mean the guy was waiting 5 years and it was a cancer for females.. but yet still i think they shouldn't have done it..

Wow, and I thought you had to have a uterous to get uterine cancer. The cancer didn't turn into a different kind of cancer? Amazing. Not exactly sure how uterine cancer would be in the kidney! I mean if they stop it at the uterous, if she was alive, wouldn't that have gotten rid of her cancer? She didn't have kidney cancer. Still unbelievable, we learn something new everyday.
