COwboy Hat and BOOts OK for regular person TO wear AT anyTime!!!!???????

I want to know if it's OK or socially acceptable for regular people (non authentic cow people) to wear cowboy hat and boots at any time and place. I am curious because I see allot more recently and I'm not sure if I didn't get the memo that went out to make this OK.

I think it's ok to wear cowboy hat and boots.as long as the cowboy trend is not overkill.you can wear cowboy boots with jeans and simple shirts.you can wear cowboy hat with a simple slip dress.
