When I took a bathe I think of things that is the oldest one I am still using at this very moment, hahahaha, it's the personal one, a gift from my friend in high school before... it's a kind of weird gift... but I love it and keep it using... now I still use it sometimes.... It's an underwear... it's 7 years old. What's yours? A gift or you bought it by yourself?

Well, the oldest thing that I have is a hairclip which I bought some eight years ago. It's a lovely hairclip which has some glittering stones on it. Until now that hairclip is with me although I can't use it anymore. I can't remember how much was the exact amount of the clip when I bought it but I know that it costs me a lot of money that's why I consider it as one of my valuable possessions.

Yeah, it's with me Prime. LOL! I so love my dear hairclip. I can't use it though because I had my hair rebonded two weeks ago so hairclips are not allowed.

That made me think of a magazine I have. I have an old Source magazine from 1992. I found it in a box along with some other things when I moved in. At first, I held on to it in case it's owner came back for it. It is a cool issue so I haven't thrown it away.

The oldest thing I have is my daughter's baby blanket. I made it for her when I was pregnant with her 10 years ago. She passed it down to her sister when she was born. My next child will probably use it as well. It is old yet loved!

The one my daughter's has looks like I made it yesterday. I guess if you made something out of love or buy something with love it lasts longer. My baby still sleeps with it sometimes. It is so cute to see her cuddled up with it even though it is way too small for her!

no, it's national. it's really getting older now and i wish to have a new one to make this one retire early.
• Philippines

with proper care, it could still last up to 20 years neil... and who knows, you can sold it as an antique.... like my brother, he is also keeping things, even those who are not functioning.... now he has a room full of junk....

As a very sentimental guy, I like keeping things given to me or things that I bought for myself...since I came into existence with a conscious and remembering mind, I have already been stocking things. And I can't think of anything right now whether which item's the oldest but I do remember the persons who gave them to me...Maybe because I do not really value the length an item stays with me. What matters is the bond that was made between me and the others...^_^
• Philippines
2 Jun 10
That's great, I like that. yes, it's all about the bond... that is why I am keeping this thing carefully because the person who gave this to me is my best friend.

The oldest thing I have are: 1. A 1978 Gibson Les Paul (Ace Frehley - Kiss) Model - still plays ok but because of it's fragile neck I only use it for recordings that require me to give a warm rhythm sound. sigh... it's been abused for so long 2. 1978 Fender Jazz Bass - already in pieces but this is the first instrument I regularly used 3. 1979 Mitsubishi Celeste - recently bought and definitely going to get a lot of attention from me I have a fixation for things from the 70s sheesh

The oldest things I have in my home are things that I have received from my grandmothers. My paternal grandmother gave me some old magazines that she has kept for many, many years. The magazines are almost 100 years old, and I think it is interesting to read them, they are so different from the magazines that you can buy today. My maternal grandmother gave me a book that she received when she was a child, the book is from the 1930's and it is a collection of stories for children. Some of those stories are really sad and they always made me cry when I was a child.

Well the oldest thing that i have and that I still remember and use it a lot of time is my computer. My computer is around 7 years old as well. Yea I know that is pretty old and is unable to play many games and is not as fast as the new PCs. Due to this I have gotten it upgraded many times with RAM, Drives, etc. and don't know if it will be 100% qualified as old due to all the new parts :D
