The Central Govt has released to TOI the amount of compensation which will be paid for the Mangalore Crash and Maoist attack on Gyaneshwari Express in West Bengal.
Mangalore Crash:
Death Compensation: 10 lacs
Injured: 2 lac
Rail Crash:
Death Compensation: 5 lacs
Injured: 1 lac
Minor injury : 10,000
Its a pity to see that same government dont value the life of its citizen as equal. Many legal policies like insurances etc also play a part in evaluation of compensation for disasters..
wat is you opinion on this? do u feel that the compensation for all disasters should be the same irrespective of the cause...
