lahm as german captain

I think it was a nice move by Loew, Lahm has showed that he is one of the best players of the team along with Schweinsteiger and Ballack, unfortunately Ballack got injured and the captain armband was going to be held either by Bastian or Phillipe, he opted for Lahm which I think it's right and Bastian Schweinsteiger as second captain. Unfortunately for Germany they have 4 important players injured and they doesn't seem that favourite to win the WorldCup now. Cheers!

I think it is a good move from Loew. I was worried that he might have handed it to Schweinstager. I think he is highly overrated and can easily be nullified. Also as a captain you need someone who can lift the spirits of the team and put in the performances to lift the team. I thought Lahm did a fantastic job of it last world cup in Germany. I hope that he does do it for Germany this World Cup as well. Cheers! Ram

lahm has played around 60+ caps for Nationmanshaft.. he is their true talent apart from the flop named podolski... he can easily influence d team bt the prob will be his on field control of the team. he needs to make himself loud and dominant on the pitch..
