In my view, Determination is the foundation and Motivation is the fuel for sustaining activities. So as foundation, role of Determination is more prime and without it, there will bo no effective action and then Motivation is of no meaning! But Motivation helps better in case of the determined people for achievement. For the case of lacking Determination, Motivation may or may not help to develop effective activities!
Thanks for this nice topic and have always better Determination for your activities, which can generate motivation for many persons!!

Both things are important, but I usually need a kind of motivation in order to develop determination to achieve my goals. There are many different kinds of motivation. Sometimes I want to achieve some pleasant and sometimes I want to avoid something unpleasant, but in both cases my motivation is important. I don't think that I could find determination if I had no motivation. I might not know the source of my motivation, but I believe that it is always there. On the other hand motivation isn't enough, and I need determination in order to achieve my goals.

I am very determined when I am motivated but not always, without a motivation can I find determination. They both go hand in hand for me but I definately need a motivation to become determined.
I have a motivation every day though, so that is nt a problem. Every day is special and there must always be something which it will be remembered for and I am determined to find it

I really think as stated earlier you will need both to succeed. Because you will need to be determined to be motivated and you need to be motivated to be determined. You will never succeed if you are not motivated though.
