What A Sham When President Visit The Coast........

nzinky, your discussion is all over the place. You complain that it took Obama more than a month to go to the coast and then turn around and tell him to do the job he's "suppost" to do and to keep his nose out of the private sector. Meanwhile you note (correctly) that BP faked cleanup efforts during the president's visit, claim that nothing is going to be done about the spill and then turn around and say that BP knows more about the spill than the president ever will. So, which is it? The president was late making an appearance or he should keep his nose out of it? BP isn't able to stop/clean up the spill or they are the experts? You seem to have also forgotten, by the way, that cleaning up this spill does not rest solely on the shoulders of the president. And, no, I don't think that we're fooling ourselves about what is being done to stop the leaks.

Nzinky, I am very confused by your post. Are you mad that Obama didn't go down there sooner, even though you pointed out that "KEEP HIS NOSE OUT OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR"? Also, it sounds like you want him to do something about this problem, even though you just stated "KEEP HIS NOSE OUT OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR". So, do you want him to do something, or not? His JOB is to keep the American people safe, and if this private corporation screws up and could hurt our nations safety than it is his JOB to deal with it. Remember when Bush went down to the gulf after Katrina? Did that help any (remember the comments he made about FEMA director Mike Brown)? Sometimes it is better if the president doesn't do anything, and like you said "KEEP HIS NOSE OUT OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR". But, if the private sector creates a huge problem that hurts our nations security, then it is his JOB, to step in and correct the situation. He is doing his JOB, nice to see we have a president that is.
