We stay at home over the long Memorial weekend. I had to go to town this morning and the traffic was absolutely nuts. Our home is secluded and nicer than going to a park so we stick around home. I hate packing up to go somewhere where there are hoards of people and wailing kids. That is just not relaxing to me. Even though there so many people out of work the money is still flying. Gotta wonder if it is the people who still have jobs or what.

I don't have any plans for this weekend, either. I hardly ever do anything for Memorial Day. It's because my sister who lives next door to me has so many health problems and she hardly ever gets out any more. I don't mean this to be ugly but her husband has such a bad attitude and nobody likes to be around him much. My other sister lives in Birmingham, which is 43 miles from here and my brother lives in Tuscaloosa, which is 53 miles south of here. As you can see, were pretty far apart. I know how you feel about not liking to be around wailing children. I don't like that, either, and that's the way it is whenever I go to Walmart, lol!

You know, Walmart is really a very good comparison. No one watches their kids anymore. It is a pain in the butt. Shopping can be relaxing if there aren't kids running around like monkeys. This is especially true in the grocery store. If I see someone's kid standing in a shopping cart, I turn the opposite direction. Man who lets their kid stand up in the seat of the shopping car. OMG!!!!
Oh yes, and why is is so many men have such a rotten attitude? Wouldn't you just love to slap em?

I think it's so sad that people don't watch their children like they should. I think shopping would be a lot more relaxing if children didn't act up so, too. I wouldn't let a child of mine stand up in the shopping cart! They might fall sure enough and get hurt bad!
Yes, I would love to be able to slap the men, too! I can't slap my brother-in-law, though, because he's 73 years old and I'm sure he would want me to be respectful toward him. I have talked up to him a few times but it doesn't do any good. He doesn't pay it any attention. I'm sure my sister (his wife) would love to slap him, too :))))!!
