I'm glad you are getting to go out. My neighbor took me to a new store that I had been wanting to go to. It was nice just to get out. Maybe you should take the wheelchair, just in case. Especially if there will be a lot of walking. She offered to push you so maybe you should let her! I know how you feel if the place is packed you don't want to use something that will be in the way. I went to visit a friend with another friend and took my wheelchair, walker, and crutches. I was glad I had each of them! We went to a flea market and they pushed my wheelchair. At least I didn't have to worry about not being able to go where they wanted, or that I was slowing them down. Have fun but be safe.

hi oh jugsjugs I am so glad for you as I know what it is to not get to go places. and to take you to a f avorite place that will be just fantastic for you but take care, dont get hurt, use the wheelchair if necessary but still have fun. You might want to take some tylenol or something before you go. Just incase you use some muscles you are used to using since you have been layed up. Take care and have fun!

But please use the wheelchair because as you said the place is busy and full packed, so I think you will be safer in the chair. Your friend is so kind so just let both of you enjoy your day together. I'm glad you're getting the chance to get out. Like you said, I'm sure the pain will be worth it. I don't blame you for not wanting to use the wheelchair. I would prefer to have to do without one, myself. It might be a good idea to take it, anyway, in case the pain gets unbearable. You can do whatever you want to but that's a suggestion. That's great you get to go out with your friend - hope you enjoy your time with her! I haven't gone out with friends without children in a long time . . . but I'll have time for that later on - I'm super busy and I know I'd just be thinking about the kids the entire time if I did. So were you able to hobble to the store? Hee hee!! Hope you weren't in too much pain! Glad you got out though!

That's an smart decision,jugsjugs.Going out and changing the ambiance is so important for us,as we can concentrate on little stuff and pull ourselfs out of the routine stress.Sometimes I'm thinking for hours about a reason to go out,but since I'm new in town,as it says,I don't have to many opportunities.God bless you and have a GREAT day

Going out will be good for u, at least u get some fresh air, and get to see different things ^_^ Though ple out there might be curious about the wheelchair, but dun bother about them.. hehe ^_^ It's good that your friend is willing to push u around, and spend time with u too.. hehe ^_^ U have got a nice friend Enjoy yout day!!
