How do you feel about passing a child who has failing grades? My 11 year old is failing most of his classes and his dad wants to push him to 6th grade because he's afraid my son will just give up if he fails the grade. I feel like passing him will just teach him that it doesn't matter if you try or not cause you can get by with failing grades! OK, now....discuss!

Are you the teacher of your own son? That's kinda unfair, don't you think? What will the other failing students' parents say once they know that you passed your son cuz of some reason? They'll find out about this sooner or later. Better just take the high road and fail him.

failure is something that is disappointing. but if the failure to serve as a lesson, the better life will be created. indeed only a theory of failure is the beginning of success. but it could happen if we respond correctly. encourages the child to keep trying to get passed to the next. giving spirit is a very difficult thing, but if done with sincerity will definitely succeed,

i agree with you on this, that's why my husband was concerned and didn't want to break his spirit, but i think God works best in broken lives. he will be fine, and we did hold him back so i think we did the right thing.
