Silver and gold collection , investing in them a wise idea?

i have 30+ ounces of silver so far an half an ounce of gold plus many junk silver coins. Will this increase in value in the next 5 years and if so do you think the increase in value will be high.Or will the economy crash and it will be very rare and one of the few things left that has some value becides food and water.

yea invest in some gold. my english teacher was always like buy 2kg of gold because in million years it will be worth more due to inflation or something.
