The devil cannot stand in the midst of the praises of His people

Our time alone with God is not just a time of worship but it's also a time of warfare. When Paul and Peter were thrown down in that dark Philippian jail the devil thought he had them lick but what did they do they began to sing. And the Lord sent an earthquake to set them free. One thing for sure, the devil cannot stand in the midst of the praises of His people.

I agree with you brother that we are engaged in a spiritual battle. Our enemy is not flesh and blood, it is not human but we are fighting against the spiritual forces, which is the devil. But thank God! we are more than conqueror because of what had Jesus done on the cross 2000 years ago. Praise the Lord!

Since you know the Scriptures, "I was raised Christian. I have read the bible. I have been to classes on religion," you should know that Dentabz (even those it was Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail and not Paul and Peter) was speaking of the warfare between good and evil, God and Satan, not man against man. How in the world did you turn this Scripture into hatred and killing? Acts 16:25-40.
