Hi Pepperjam, How soon are the babies separated from the mother as they should stay in the nest and even when they venture out not leave the mother until at least eight weeks of age so perhaps they are being separated too soon, even after they are weaned and eating and drinking on their own they still need mum until that eight weeks, hopefully you will be more successful with another litter, but also do not allow her to have any more without at least a 2 month if not longer break and the babies take a lot out of the mum. thanks! :) i don't separate them that soon, though. i think i'm even going over that 8 weeks time frame.

if you have baby rabbit, don't touch them, they mum will refused and even kill her baby, because they mum smell human odor in her baby.
