Can't post on myLot using Opera Mini 4.2. Help!

I'm assuming you are using opera 4.2 on your mobile device or phone correct? Also what type of phone or device you have (name of phone and if it's touch screen or keypad phone) once you tell me this information then maybe I can help you I can try lol.. Because i had a similar problems. Also base on your mobile device and if it's touch screen or keypad can make a big difference oh yeah by the way opera 4.2 doesn't have a mini java or jack lite or something. So posting on mylot will be very hard haha you can type a much as you want but it won't post through haha.. Lol.. Right? But yeah just tell the device name and touch or not

It's better to use firefox mozilla much faster and reliable browser.

Hello there! Well, I am using opera mini 4.2 for posting here since I joined here. The javascript alert normally appears for users with below 500 posts, same with what I had experienced before but it can still post even when the alert pops out. But due to the change of script in here, there are some things that are no longer supported by opera mini browser. On the old script, even the version 2.06 works but now, you can't log in and post using that browser, use higher versions to be able to do that. Now, users below 500 posts can't post using opera mini 4.2, try to gain posts using your computer and you can use your phone back after having 500 posts. I am still looking on a solution for that because my friends are also facing this problem because they joined during the new script and want to post using their phones. I am using a window mobile phone, so mine has Opera Mobile on it, and it works great for posting here. It does take a little longer though since the screen is smaller, but I can do it, as I have posted discussions,a nd responses in here on my phone. I will do that periodically, when I am not home and don't have access to a computer. I bought it for that fact alone, as I just don't want to miss out on posting in here if at all possible, however there are times when I am watching the grandkids, that I won't do it, so I can devote my time to them. I am so pleased with my phone, and I hope to have it for a long time. By the way, my phone is a Samsung Omnia 2. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Me too can access mylot using OM 4.2 and cannot post to discussions. I suggest you use the newest opera mini 5. I'm sure it can and it's even faster than 4.2. Also try opera 8.65.
