Is it time to change the opening-pair for team India?

I think they need not be changed.I think they have good technically correct batting style and foot work as openers.They are not able play the in swinger well that is the only problem I thought. I think both of them are temporary or just replacements to Sehwag-Gambhir pair.so no need to experiment too much with them.

ya opening partnership is the key thing for india and now india is not having a good opening partnership on the start. after virus injury india have not got a good start. raina should make change in opening combination.

Well I think we should give one more chance to dinesh karthik and vijay as India at Zimbabwe doesn't have any good opening pair. We all know that both these player are capable of playing big innings as we have seen in many domestic level cricket. So lets hope that they grab the only chance they are getting as Rohit sharma is doing otherwise they will not get any place in INDIA.

It's not Fair to say They Failed ...I Acknowledge that They don't have the class of a Sachin-Sehwag duo...But you have to admit that they have just started their partnership as opening duo. This is Vijay's First outing to Zimbabwe and also he has not faced any one from Zimbabwe and also most from Srilanka ,apart from what he saw in IPL ...This would be his learning curve and he should get into his groove soon..DK is the most flexible player in this current team he has not been given his fixed position in the line up to be fair...He has been tried at many positions all through his career... They are just two matches old and we can't blame them just because they failed in these two . We have to see how they perform in this entire series and then go about it.. But I do Agree with point that Robin Uthappa should have been included into the Team as he is in prime form and any day a better bet than yusuf pathan . We have too many all rounders in the team ( Jadeja,Pathan,Rohit , Raina can bowl as well) and all know of Pathan's shortcomings as well ... we have to wait and watch how this second string team gets its acts together...
