How do you feel about people who flick their cigarettte butts out the window

This drives me wild, too. I am always afraid that a butt or a hot ash will land on my car- I buy a new car every several years and am neurotic about keeping it looking good, so this would be devastating to me. I also can't stand to see butts lying all over the place,especially in front of entrances to buildings. It's a filthy, disgusting habit. I used to smoke many years ago, but I had an ashtray in the car and I used it. I hated when the ashes would fly back in the window at me if I tried to use the window! I would be in trouble now, if I still smoked, because the new Toyotas don't have ashtrays or lighters in them. I think that they may be available as an option, but I'm not sure. Just goes to show that smoking is NOT COOL!!! Recently I had the cable people in my backyare fixing some lines that came down in a storm. One guy was out there chain-smoking for about 1/2 hour and dropping the butts in my yard. I didn't have the nerve to confront him, but I did call the cable company to complain about it. I wondered at the time if I was being petty, but it seems from reading this that a lot of people would have done the same thing.
