Gotcha! Lolz I don't have it in my hands yet but it is in my mind and I believe in my heart I will have it. Whew lolz the power of belief and positive thinking is actually tapping into the limitless bounty of God's graces and favor. It is tapping into God's supernatural power. Didn't He say in the bible " be careful on how you think your life is shaped by it"? Well His words are true and if this is the truth then we must believe in it.
I learned this truth back in college. I had to take very hard exams and it was a do it or die thing. Before I study I would set aside 10 minutes to clear my mind and then I would visualize in the screen of my mind that I already passed my test and I will pass the semester and graduate. I did this every single day and lo and behold I did pass my tests with flying colors, graduated and passed the licensure exams.
There is nothing impossible when you believe, nothing is impossible to a willing heart. Things only become impossible when you do not believe and when you doubt. Belief is the condition for a miracle, expectation is the breeding ground for miracles. Do you agree? I do not know about you but this is what I believe in and this is my truth.
As for the $3217.29 I believe with my heart and with my mind that I already have it. This is not just for myself but also to bless those who I love and those that needs help. Thank you God for the $3217.29, thank you for providing everything and Lord I know when you said I shall not want- then I shall not want. My cup overflows and only kindness and goodness shall follow me in all the days of my life.
How about you what do you believe in? What is your truth?

I believe in thinking positively and trusting in God to get us through tough times, and get us what we truly need and not so much what we want. I believe he gives us what we want as well, and that sometimes the things we want aren't what we need, but manifest into lessons we learn. I believe that thinking positively about a given situation helps the situation to turn out positively.
I also believe that money is not mine, nor is it my husband's, nor is it anybody's. Money is God's, it is his money and his will to allow us to have the money we do have... hence why we are thankful for what we are blessed with, friends, family, and food on the table, a roof over our heads.

Yes we do not own the money God does, He blesses us with the ability to create wealth and posses wealth so we can share this blessing with others who need help. It wasn't meant for us alone. There are times He says no because He knows it would not be good for us. Or that our intentions are not inline with His will or it is not the right time. But all these He does out of love.
The amount I just mentioned is what I should receive from my separation fee from the last job I had resigned from. I intend to use this some of the amount to train Missy to be a therapy dog, parts of it I would be helping with my sisters' college tuition fees. The rest will be divided between savings and charities I support like shelter for abused kids and women and also for the animal shelter we are constructing. I just hope and pray and I believe the company will put it now in my payroll card.

I believe you will receive it soon, or when God knows that you need it. You are doing so many good things with the money, and not just worrying about yourself. I really do hope you get the money and more to sufficiently help you and your friends with that shelter, as well as to train Missy so that she can be the life of the party for the Children you'd like to volunteer for down at the new home you were talking about in another post.

Hi Candyfairy,
I have to say that I do believe in the power of positive thinking. I have had too many instances where it has happened. I just can't help but believe there is something to it. I've never visualized something so big as 3217.29 but I bet if I were in a situation where I had to, I could. Most recently I was dealing with a car that was just about to die and was very dangerous to drive. I drove it anyway and prayed each time i got behind the wheel that I'd make it to my destination and safely. At the end of this month, registration would run out and although I'd been looking for a month, I was unable to find a car that would be dependable and in my price range which is not much. I can't tell you how stressed I was getting as the end of the month approached. On Weds.morning, the 26th, I woke up and I for some reason did not feel the least bit stressed about any of this. i had talked with my friend the nite before and she said, "Sid , you have been in worse spots and things always work out." She was right. I just decided to go with it and know that it all would work out one way or another. Lo and behold, a girl came into the store and had heard I was looking for a car. She was getting rid of hers as she needed a bigger one. Get this...Same make, model, year and color as my old one! It was more than I could afford and she would not be talked down. I paid half in cash and my boss loaned me the other half. To my surprise she threw in a parts car! This car is mint so I am selling my old car along with the parts car for enough to pay off my loan! I have been in many situations and I find that when I find a way to stop stressing and panicking that every thing works out...maybe not as I would like it to but in a way that isn't devastating.

Hi Sid,
Thanks for sharing that it was truly inspiring. God intervenes at the right time. He is never too early, never late but always on time. God knows the needs in our lives but He gives to the one who knows how to ask, who has a grateful heart and the one who has pure intentions. Most importantly knows how to praise Him even in the midst of the storm. God rewards us when we least expect it and when He does, He gives so lavishly!

Hey Candy I totally believe in that way of thinking. Do you know the book "The Secret" that is exactly what the book was saying. You need to picture out your life as something better to have a better way of life.
I'll share my experience too. Before when I was looking for a job I would always claim that the job is for me. I would always picture out myself doing the job and going to my work every day. How I would be in that position. And yes I always do get that job.
Before I was also very negative in a lot of ways. Recently, I tried to become more positive and things are getting to be easy than before. Even in financial matter. Of course I am not saying that we do not encounter problems now, yes we do. But it seems like things are easier to be handled than before. So always keep that positive mindset.

I feel that I´m too small a thing in this universe to be expecting that God favors me with money. I did ask Him once to trade my life for my grandson´s. He was dying at 7 years of age and I had lived an entire life. A friend told me the God was no engineer (human like) and that people did not come and go by age. I learned then that what I had to learn was that sentence: "Thy will be done". We don´t know what is best for us. We should not ask.
I dont understand if you got the $3217.29. I don´t understand either how come you think God put it under your pillow, if He did. Because then we could ask why doesn´t He do that with everyone else.
I consider myself an agnostic, not a believer. Because I just can´t believe in your God. And God should be only one. A God for mankind and a God for ants. The same one for the whole Universe. So I just think this is beyond my capacities. But still, I managed to accept 10 years ago. I could say, with my heart: "Thy will be done".

Wow! Very mind boggling! A simple child-like faith can throw mountains into the sea out of nothing! And this is not just figurative. Jesus dried up a whole tree, just lie that, and he said it was all out of simply believing the impossible.

Hi thanks for dropping by. Faith does move mountains. Every adversity we are presented is an opportunity to exercise faith in a new level. So where will your faith take you? That's the question...Jesus always have faith that whatever He asks from his Father He will hear it and say yes to it. He modeled that to us, so why won't we follow that? I sure will lol do not want to be beating around the bush for answers lol... will just pray and believe. ")

Jesus dried up a whole tree, just like that, and he said it was all out of simply believing the impossible. I've been training in radical paradigm shifts, getting the Jesus mindset, to make this a lifestyle. I'm a rabid sucker for Jesus.
